Kashima City Chrysanthemum Exhibition

Chrysanthemums adorn Kashima Shrine at the peak of their beauty in November. The shrine approach, from the main gate to the tower gate, is lined with flowers grown by chrysanthemum enthusiasts from both inside and outside Kashima City. On weekends in November, the festive atmosphere is heightened by children in traditional attire for the Shichi-Go-San festivities.
