This new park, officially known as Toshima Midori Disaster Prevention Park (nicknamed Ike-Sun Park), was completed in 2020 next to Ikebukuro Sunshine City and has become a symbol of Higashi-Ikebukuro. It regularly hosts a variety of events. The park features a café, a children's playground, and a grassy lawn, making it a great spot for a picnic. Around 100 stalls are expected at the market.
