Fire Starting Workshop at Seiwa Forest Park, Chiba

Learn how to start a fire without matches or a lighter, using methods such as the bow drill, fire piston, and even a battery with steel wool. If you are staying at Seiwa Forest Park, staff will visit your campsite and provide a hands-on demonstration. All are welcome, whether you’ve forgotten your lighter or just want to learn. Available year-round to individuals or groups. Participation fee: 500 yen per person. Sessions last about 2 hours between 10:00 and 15:00 (times negotiable). Maximum group size: about 15 people (negotiable). Location: within Seiwa Forest Park. Advance reservation required at least 3 days before the event. Some dates may be unavailable due to staff scheduling. Details will be arranged after registration.
