Autumn Foliage at Tobayama Park
Located in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, this park stands on the site where Tokugawa Ieyasu headquartered his forces during the siege of Futamata Castle. The scenic spot overlooks the Tenryu River with sweeping views of the Enshu Plain, and remnants such as earthen walls, the castle gate, and old pathways remain. In 2018, it was designated a National Historic Site as the remains of Tobayama Castle. The park is known for cherry blossoms in spring and vibrant autumn leaves, with stunning panoramas from the observation deck.
