Christmas Market at Funabashi Andersen Park

Christmas Market at Funabashi Andersen Park

Experience the festive spirit of Denmark at this Christmas Market, held at the Event Plaza and Community Center in the Märchen Hill Zone. Open on weekends from December 5th to 20th, and on December 24th and 25th. Celebrating Andersen Park's 30th anniversary, this year's market features four new stalls and an expanded lineup of huts. Enjoy shopping for Scandinavian and Eastern European Christmas goods, sampling traditional foods, and joining craft workshops to create original wreaths, Danish 'nisse' elf ornaments, reindeer keychains, and more. Highlights include: Nisseland (selling Danish elf-themed Nordic goods), FLØDEBOLLER (traditional Danish chocolate-covered meringue treats available Dec 5-6), Bread House Nest (Christmas breads like stollen and Danish rye bread, Dec 12-13), and Eastern European Goods Shop obchod (Christmas items, Dec 19-20, 24-25). Workshops are available for making reindeer keychains, original wreaths, nisse ornaments, and natural dry arrangements, with participation fees ranging from 500 to 2,500 yen. Food trucks will offer Christmas pizza, crepes, mulled wine, and special coffees. For the most up-to-date information, please check the official website.
