Autumn Foliage at Yōrō Valley
Stretching about 6 kilometers from Asobahara in Ichihara City to Awamata in Ōtaki Town, the upper Yōrō River valley is a popular hiking destination famous for its autumn colors. Highlights include the panoramic view from Daifukuyama Observatory, riverside walking trails such as the Nakase Promenade and the Waterfall Tour Path, as well as scenic spots like Kengai-kyo and Tsutsumori Maple Valley. Please note: as of October 2026, some riverside trails are partly closed.
