Ryutetsu Railway Day & Train Market Joint Event (Ryutetsu Nagareyama Line: Around Nagareyama and Mabashi Stations)

To celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Ryutetsu Railway, 'Ryutetsu Railway Day' and the 'Ryutetsu Train Market' will be held together. At the usually restricted Nagareyama Station rail yard, enjoy a sister city product fair, kids’ festival games, a mini steam locomotive, souvenir photos in the driver’s cab, door operation experiences, and local vegetable sales. On the station platforms, enjoy gourmet food and sweets sold from converted train cars: Nagareyama Station features traditional sweet mirin, while Mabashi Station focuses on coffee and desserts. Shop at various local eateries and bakeries at both stations. Outside Nagareyama Station, Ryutetsu merchandise will be on sale, and visitors can take commemorative photos with Ryutetsu’s mascot character. Visitors who purchase a Ryutetsu one-day unlimited ride pass will receive discount vouchers valid at train car shops and the sister city fair.
