Autumn Foliage Around Amagi (Showa-no-Mori Hall)
Showa-no-Mori Hall is located within the Amagi-goe Roadside Station in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Surrounded by natural mountains, the area is known for having some of Japan's best hiking trails nearby. About a 15-minute walk from the roadside station, the Namezawa Gorge features a stream gliding over a sheet of andesite rock, beautifully complemented by the autumn leaves. Typically, maple and zelkova trees begin to change color in early November, with peak viewing lasting until late November.
