Gyotoku Festival / Gyotoku Station Front Park
November 15, 2026
Held since 2004, this festival celebrates Gyotoku’s status as the birthplace of traditional mikoshi (portable shrines), under the theme 'Gyotoku, the Number One Mikoshi Town in Japan.' The highlight is the parade of the Gyotoku Mikoshi, a City of Ichikawa Intangible Folk Cultural Property. The event also features stage performances, food trucks, and festival stalls. Note: This year there will be no Edomae Mikoshi procession. Canceled in case of rain.
