Autumn Foliage on the Chibayama Hiking Trail
Along the historic Ita Buddhist Pilgrimage Path and the Chibayama Hiking Trail, visitors can admire the vibrant red leaves of the native Enkianthus bushes in the Doudanhara area. With around 8,000 Enkianthus plants, this is one of the largest clusters in the region and is especially renowned for its fall colors. The well-maintained trails are suitable for both adults and children, allowing for a comfortable and safe hiking experience. The stunning autumn foliage can be enjoyed up close from the walking paths.
