Shiraito Falls is renowned as one of Japan's most famous waterfalls. Hundreds of streams cascade down a 20-meter-high, 150-meter-wide curved cliff, resembling countless threads of white silk. In autumn, the surrounding lacquer and maple trees turn vibrant colors, beautifully framing the waterfall.
