Held at the large pond in Tama Central Park, Tama City, these canoe lessons for children return for another year. Children can try paddling a single-person canoe while wearing a life jacket, under the guidance of the local canoe club. Beginners are welcome. Four sessions are held each day, each with a limit of 12 participants. Advance reservation is required—apply via the designated form by noon on September 4 (registration closes once full). Organized by TAMA Central Park JV and Tama City Canoe Club. For elementary school children only.
