Ryuji Amano is 25 years old and has just graduated from university as a trainee doctor. His early days as a new physician are filled with frustration as he struggles to keep up, constantly scolded by superiors and unsure of what to do. Meanwhile, patients keep coming, with no time to spare. He faces his first night shifts in the emergency ward, his first surgery, and his first time witnessing a patient's passing. As he confronts his own helplessness, he throws himself into saving lives and grows through the experience. A post-show talk will also be held with Dr. Yujiro Nakayama, a surgeon and bestselling author who inspired the story.
