Gallery NOOOG presents the special exhibition 'Edo Pastimes – Living with Playfulness –' featuring an entertainer from Asakusa and a traditional netsuke artist. The exhibition highlights two professions that shaped the play and trends of the Edo period, showcasing and selling three-dimensional works, wooden plaques, paper cuttings, ink paintings, and antler art inspired by themes like tou-sen-kyo (fan tossing game), raccoons, cats, and lion dances. During the exhibition, there will also be opportunities to experience traditional parlor games and join a workshop on making netsuke from antler.
