Autumn Foliage at Kanuki Mountain
Kanuki Mountain, located in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is one of the peaks known as the Numazu Alps and is cherished as a city symbol along with Senbon Pine Grove and Cape Ose. Standing 193 meters above sea level and neighboring the city center about one kilometer southeast of Numazu Station, it offers a popular and easily accessible hiking route. As autumn deepens and winter approaches, the area around the five-story Memorial Peace Pagoda is beautifully colored in shades of red and orange.
