In anticipation of the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s passing, this concert presents his monumental Symphony No. 3 'Eroica' alongside Cherubini’s 'Requiem in C minor,' the piece Beethoven wished to be played at his own funeral. Program: Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 55 'Eroica' by Beethoven; 'Requiem in C minor' by Cherubini. Performers: Conducted by Masato Suzuki, featuring the Bach Collegium Japan (chorus and orchestra). *Admission is not permitted for preschool children.
