Autumn Foliage at Koyodai
October 21 – November 10, 2026
Free entry
Located just north of Mount Fuji, south of Lake Sai, and at the eastern edge of the Aokigahara Forest, the ridgeline of Mount Ashiwada includes viewpoints such as Koyodai, Sankodai, and Gokodai, all situated along the Tokai Nature Trail. These spots offer spectacular panoramic views. While Mount Ashiwada draws many visitors in summer, it is especially popular in autumn for the vibrant foliage seen from Koyodai. The leaves of maples and oaks typically start to turn color in late October, reaching their peak from early to late November.
