Autumn Foliage in the Sekigawadani Valley
Along the clear waters of the Sekigawadani Valley, which flow from the northern side of Mount Jizogatake, visitors can explore a scenic walking trail featuring seven waterfalls. This trail not only allows hikers to observe exposed sections of the Fossa Magna, but also offers opportunities for nature exploration and fishing. Surrounded by fresh air, it takes about 40 minutes to complete the course and fully enjoy the valley’s natural beauty. The best time to see the vibrant autumn leaves is from late October to early November, when the gorge is transformed with stunning colors.
