In November 2024, Meiji University announced the acquisition of the land and buildings of Yamanoue Hotel. The hotel, renowned for its Voors architecture, was built in 1932 with funding from Keitaro Sato, an alumnus of Meiji University from Kitakyushu, and opened as a hotel in 1954. The event will explore the history of Yamanoue Hotel and Sato Keitaro's achievements, highlighting their connection to Meiji University.
