This collection exhibition at the Setagaya Literary Museum marks 30 years since the death of novelist and kimono designer Chiyo Uno (1897-1996). Drawing on a collection donated to the museum in 2023, it displays original manuscripts and drafts, correspondence with friends, kimonos she designed, and personal belongings spanning her prolific later career from 1945 onward. The show highlights her bestselling semi-autobiographical serialized novel and her dual career as author and textile/kimono designer. The museum is a five-minute walk from Roka-koen Station on the Keio Line.
