The Cocoon City Illumination takes place in Saitama City's Cocoon City, themed for 2026 as 'MILLION WISHES – Wishes Gather Like Stars.' Champagne-gold lights come together to gently embrace the wishes of each visitor, creating a warm and sparkling atmosphere. At the main venue, Cocoon Plaza, the symbolically lit camphor tree and a starry sky of illuminations overhead set the scene. From 5:00 pm every day, there is a music-synchronized light show every 30 minutes, ending at 10:30 pm. Additional illuminated displays can be enjoyed along Sakura Walk, Cocoon Plaza, the Saitama-Shintoshin East Exit Pedestrian Deck, and the Parkside Building.
