Showa Memorial National Park, spanning Tachikawa and Akishima in Tokyo, offers a series of illuminated autumn evening walks where visitors can experience the beauty of the season after dusk. The event features light displays at the Canal, where the golden foliage is reflected on the water, the Ginkgo Avenue glowing in yellow, and the traditional Japanese Garden. The garden has a circular path around a pond, allowing visitors to enjoy the changing leaves and the reflections of bridges and tea houses on the water. Admission to the illuminated Japanese Garden requires a separate ticket for the night-time light-up.
