One of Izu's most famous spots for autumn foliage. The park features around 2,000 trees, including Japanese maples in the traditional garden and grove, as well as American sweetgum and golden bald cypress, creating a blend of Japanese and Western autumn colors. During peak season, a special 'Maple Illumination' event is held from November 7 to December 13, allowing visitors to enjoy the magical atmosphere of lit-up leaves at night, which is completely different from the daytime. Note: The park operates a separate entrance system for daytime and evening visits.
