November 1–30, 2026
Free entry
Mount Myogi in Gunma Prefecture refers collectively to Hakusan, Kindozan, and Kinkeisan, and is one of the Three Famous Mountains of Gunma. Renowned as one of Japan’s three most scenic spots with unusual rock formations, the dramatic contrast between the rugged cliffs and the vibrant autumn foliage makes it especially popular during the fall season. The area around Myogi Panorama Park, located along the Myogi Autumn Leaves Route (Prefectural Road 196) connecting Tomioka and Shimonita, offers breathtaking views as well as attractions such as hot springs, roadside stations, and the Myogi Visitor Center, which provides information on sightseeing and hiking in the area.
