Free entry
Momiji Valley, a popular autumn foliage spot, is located within Orihime Park, which opened in 1976. The valley features around 1,000 maple and tulip trees, creating a striking contrast of red and yellow during the fall season. On clear autumn days, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Akagi, the Chichibu mountain range, Mount Fuji, and the vast Kanto Plain from Kagamiiwa Square at the park’s northern end. The nearby Ashikaga Orihime Shrine marks the start and end point of the Ashikaga Prefectural Nature Park hiking trail, attracting many walkers who come to enjoy the seasonal scenery.
