Ikaho Hot Springs in Gunma Prefecture is famous for its therapeutic waters. Near the source, around Kajika Bridge, the maple trees nurtured by the rich nature of the Haruna mountains begin to change color around October 20 each year. The foliage reaches its peak in early November, offering stunning autumn scenery. Visitors can also take a ropeway from the hot spring town to the summit of Uenoyama Park for panoramic views of the colorful mountains.
