Known as the "Niagara of the East," Fukiware Falls features a dynamic spectacle where water plunges down a seven-meter drop spanning thirty meters wide. The gorge's stunning scenery and vibrant autumn foliage can be viewed from the surrounding walking trails and observation deck. Highlights include the dramatic Masutobi Falls, the impressive Shishi Rock formations, historic Ukishima Kannon Temple, Ukishima Bridge, and observation platforms that all offer unique perspectives on the breathtaking valley. The best time to see the autumn colors is from late October to early November.
