In Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture, various hot springs with different mineral qualities are scattered along the Hokigawa River, an area known as the 'Shiobara Eleven Springs.' Behind the Shiobara Monogatari Museum, the area around the Beninotsuribashi Suspension Bridge is especially striking in autumn when the landscape turns vivid red with fall colors. The combination of autumn leaves and the scenic valley of the Hokigawa River is another highlight. Well-maintained walking trails provide opportunities to fully enjoy nature and hiking. Typically, maple, azalea, beech, oak, and larch trees begin changing colors from mid-October.
