Around 7,000 winter cherry trees are planted throughout this spacious park, reaching their peak bloom from November to December. In mid-November, the autumn leaves overlap with the winter cherry blossoms, creating a magical landscape. It's rare to find a place where both cherry blossoms and autumn foliage can be photographed together, making it a popular spot among photographers. The 'twice-blooming' winter cherry trees, which flower in both spring and winter, are officially designated as a National Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument.
