Autumn Foliage at Tokumeien Garden
November 1–30, 2026
¥800
Tokumeien Garden is acclaimed as one of the finest traditional gardens in northern Kanto for its impressive scale. Developed alongside the construction of the neighboring Cave Kannon Temple, the garden features four areas: dry landscape, strolling pond, moss garden, and rock garden. Each zone showcases grand Sanbaseki stones, regarded as Gunma's finest, and a rich variety of maple trees, making it a well-known spot for autumn leaves. Due to the garden's varied elevations, the foliage changes color at different times, so the peak viewing period typically extends from mid-November to early December. Visitors can also enjoy exploring the Cave Kannon Temple and its blessings while admiring the autumn scenery.
