Autumn Foliage at Lake Kawaguchi
Enjoy the vibrant fall colors at various elevations, from the 1,300-meter Tenka-chaya teahouse to Lake Kawaguchi at 830 meters. Stroll through the Maple Corridor, lined with around 100 towering maple trees, or along the 1.5-kilometer Maple Avenue for a relaxing experience. The area also features illuminations, where you can admire brilliant autumn leaves with Mount Fuji illuminated in the background. The best viewing period is usually from early to late November.
