8th Akikawa River Fireworks Festival

The Akikawa River Fireworks Festival takes place at the Tokyo Summerland second parking lot. Featuring around 5,000 fireworks, it is the largest autumn fireworks event in Tokyo (according to organizers). Highlights include a show synchronized to music, set against the backdrop of autumn foliage-covered mountains and the Akikawa River on a clear late autumn night. For its 8th edition in 2026, the entire food area transforms into the 'Akikawa Ultimate Meat Festival,' with about 30 food trucks and tents serving various meat dishes. The festival runs from noon to 8pm, offering entertainment throughout the day. All viewing seats are paid and reserved, allowing attendees to relax and enjoy the show without having to claim a spot in advance.
