Naritasan Park, a large 165,000-square-meter park behind the main hall of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, features beautiful fall colors from around 250 maple and ginkgo trees, attracting many visitors each year. On weekends and holidays during the festival, activities include tea ceremonies hosted by local groups as well as performances of traditional Japanese instruments such as koto, shakuhachi, erhu, and Tsugaru shamisen. On the 21st and 22nd, the park's calligraphy museum will also host a calligraphy experience event, with free admission on those two days.
