Featuring statues of deities and religious paintings from the Tenri Reference Museum collection, this exhibition explores the gods and myths of Hinduism. It also showcases ritual tools, masks, and musical instruments, offering a glimpse into the role of faith and the arts in Indian daily life. As a highlight, rare ancient Indian religious sculptures from the 1st to 3rd centuries—seldom seen in Japan—will be displayed in the prologue section.
