15th Annual Sakura Riverside Art Illumination
November 21, 2026 – January 11, 2027
Enjoy a handmade art illumination event in Tsuchiura, showcasing the area’s local charms. Centered around a 25-meter-tall Dutch-style windmill adorned with lights and featuring motifs inspired by local treasures such as cherry blossoms, Tsuchiura’s famous fireworks, and Lake Kasumigaura, the venue is transformed with creative, enchanting displays. The event’s theme is to broaden community spirit, nurture the circle of light, and deepen bonds through illumination.
