10th Kurosawa Pond Tatara Festival at Fululu Garden Yachiyo

This festival celebrates ancient iron-making sites discovered near the southeast area of Murakami Station in Yachiyo City. Visitors can join guided tours of the archaeological site, try collecting iron sand, and participate in workshops such as making pottery bookmarks. Over both event days, activities include crafting iron powder pocket warmers and a piano performance featuring works by Dvořák, known for his love of trains. The festival offers fun for all ages, and the first 200 visitors will receive a poster of the Okizuka archaeological site.
