Yamanote Line Loop Walk: 10–42 km Route (December)
Monday, December 28, 2026
Join a walking event that follows the Yamanote Line in a clockwise loop starting from Tokyo Station, covering approximately 10 to 42 kilometers at a speed of 3–4 km/h. It's easy for beginners to participate, as train stations are always nearby if you feel unwell. With plenty of rest breaks, many have completed their first 42 km walk at this event. Effective stretching exercises are held before starting. Many participants come alone. Some courses finish at a public bathhouse ('Raku Spa Kanda'), offering a 40 km walk. You can also choose to do slow jogging with the group.
