The Seven Lucky Gods are seven deities believed to bring good fortune. Originating in the Muromachi period, they were inspired by the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove and comprise gods selected from Indian, Chinese, and Japanese traditions. They are said to grant luck, fulfillment of wishes, and health. On January 3rd, citizens dressed as the Seven Lucky Gods parade through seven shrines and temples, starting at Kamimachi Hikawa Shrine.
