German drummer Wolfgang Haffner leads his trio at Cotton Club in Marunouchi, with Simon Oslender on piano and keyboards and Thomas Stieger on bass. The shows mark his 60th birthday and fifty years as a performing musician, with a set drawing on his recent album Life Rhythm. He is known for work with artists such as Pat Metheny, Bob James and Chaka Khan.
