Walking Through Edo’s Summer - Change Morning Glories and Wind Chime Corridor
July 14 – August 30, 2026
A summer-only event at Jindai Botanical Park where you can experience Edo horticultural culture. The park features a corridor of morning glories and wind chimes along the babbling brook path, as well as exhibits of diverse mutation varieties of change morning glories and wind chime gates. At the Plant Pavilion, there is also a display of the seasonal change morning glories, along with panels about Edo summer traditions, and special exhibitions of traditional Edo ornamental plants Shidashi-nobu and Edo wind chimes. On August 8th, a workshop for making Shidashi-nobu will be held.
