For In Good Company, VERDY has brought together artists whose work he has genuinely connected with and deeply admired over the years. Rather than building the exhibition around one strict theme, the exhibition begins with a shared feeling - a sense of comfort, familiarity, emotion, and creative inspiration that these artists' work has given us. Over the years, we have met and built relationships with many artists across different countries, cultures, and creative disciplines. This exhibition brings together artists from Japan and abroad whom we have encountered through those exchanges. While each artist has a different background, perspective, and mode of expression, their work shares a common sense of humanity and sincerity, and these are the qualities that have continually drawn us to them. The exhibition is also about connection. By bringing together artists working across different regions and cultural backgrounds in Tokyo, it aims to create a space where their works can enter into dialogue, giving rise to new relationships and discoveries.In Good Company is a tribute to the artists we deeply admire and a celebration of the creative community. Set in Tokyo, we hope the exhibition will create new encounters and conversations through the resonance of each artist's work.
