The Tokyo University of the Arts Chamber Orchestra, a string-based ensemble of the university's music students, gives its 48th regular concert at Nippon Steel Kioi Hall. Violinist Mayumi Kanagawa is the soloist in Hartmann's Concerto funebre, and the program also includes the Adagio from Bruckner's String Quintet in a string-orchestra version and Britten's Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge.
