Theater Company Subaru stages "84 Charing Cross Road" as the second production of its 50th anniversary season, a long-treasured piece in the company's repertoire. Based on Helen Hanff's book, it follows the friendship between a New York book lover and a London antiquarian bookseller, told through years of letters across the Atlantic. Directed by Jun Kikuchi, with Tetsuo Kanao as Frank Doel and Miru Ichiyanagi as Helen Hanff.
