Set within Hyokeikan at the Tokyo National Museum—a National Important Cultural Property and a masterpiece of late-Meiji Western architecture—this exhibition showcases the works of Ryoin YAMANOSE Ⅶ and Moeka Yamamoto, the only master and disciple in Japan keeping the traditional craft of WAMEGANE(Traditional Japanese Spectacles) alive today. Seeking to "discover a new world through a small window," this exhibition transcends the concept of glasses as mere vision-correction tools, introducing the aesthetics of WAMEGANE as pure art that connects humanity with the world.
