Takashi Yanase Exhibition: Life is a Joyful Game

This large-scale traveling exhibition showcases the works of Takashi Yanase, the creator of Anpanman. It features approximately 200 original artworks including related Anpanman pieces, as well as works like "Gentle Lion" and cover illustrations for the magazine "Poetry and Fairy Tales." The exhibition explores Yanase's diverse career as a manga artist, poet, picture book author, illustrator, and editor through themes such as "Yanase Takashi Full Profile," "Manga," "Poetry," "Picture Books and Yanase Fairy Tales," and "Anpanman." Visitors can learn about his creative journey, shaped by war experiences, family farewells, and encounters with many people, along with his belief in unyielding justice. The venue will also sell over 140 original exhibition goods, and feature related events including lectures and film screenings.
