An afternoon tea event held in the Suruga region of central Shizuoka Prefecture, a renowned tea-growing area. This event features 34 participating tea farms, tea wholesalers, and cafes from the area. Each venue offers a menu pairing at least two types of Shizuoka tea with sweets, served by tea professionals who carefully select the optimal water temperature and steeping time for the perfect cup. Pamphlets for the Suruga Afternoon Tea route are available at participating locations and tourist information centers.
