Co-organized with the Rissho University Museum, this is the first-ever archaeology exhibition by the Hachigata Castle Historical Museum focused on the Saitama region, and also the museum's first collaboration with a university museum. The exhibition highlights ancient kiln sites known as the 'Four Major Kiln Groups' of the Musashi Province by gathering artifacts excavated from the Sueno Kiln Group (Yorii Town) owned by the Yorii Town Board of Education, along with artifacts from the Minamihiki Kiln Group (Hatoyama Town) and Higashikaneko Kiln Group (Iruma City) in the Rissho University Museum collection. Through these exhibits from three major kiln sites in Saitama, visitors can discover the history of ancient ceramics production in the region.
