This workshop at the Shizuoka Prefectural Archaeological Center offers hands-on experience in cataloging and preserving excavated cultural artifacts—activities not usually open to the public. Applications must be submitted electronically via the center’s website. The workshop is limited to 10 participants who must be able to attend all sessions; if there are too many applicants, participants will be chosen by lottery. The application deadline is Thursday, April 30. Please wear clothing that can get a little dirty.
