The popular annual event 'Shinobazu Pond Book Café 2026: Book Path by the Pond' will be held on October 17 (Saturday) and 18 in Ueno, Tokyo. Under the theme of 'Books, Goods, Drinks, and More', unique 'book café stalls' will gather in the park area on the south side of Shinobazu Pond and along Shinobazu Street. Around 35 stalls and tents representing the local culture will participate. One lane on each side of the street will be closed to traffic, transforming the area into an open pedestrian space with artificial turf, umbrellas, and wooden benches.
