Sasaichi New Sake Festival 2026

At the Sasaichi Sake Brewery in Fujimisaka, Yamanashi—the only local brewery producing both sake and Japanese wine—you can enjoy freshly brewed sake and this year's Yamanashi Nouveau at the New Sake Festival. Last year, the event drew a record 3,200 visitors and is a major annual celebration for the brewery. During the festival, leading Yamanashi restaurants offer special pop-up menus for both days, including pairings with the luxury sake 'Dan,' winner of the Platinum Prize at an international sake competition.
